Wayne Kam began my law enforcement career in July 2004, bringing over two decades of progressive experience in various specialized units. Wayne has served in Patrol, Vice, Narcotics, Organized Crime Control Bureau, Vice Enforcement Division, and the Special Victims Division. Wayne’s assignments in Vice Major Case Human Trafficking and the Intelligence Bureau have strengthened his investigative acumen in complex and sensitive cases. Currently, Wayne works in the Sensitive Data Unit and Information Technology Training Unit, focusing on digital security and officer development. Wayne was promoted to Detective in 2009 and later to Detective 2ndGrade in 2022, a reflection of his continued commitment to excellence. With a career marked by operational expertise, integrity, and a passion for public service, Wayne is proud to bring my experience and leadership to support the mission of NAPOA.
